How video notes and photo notes differ

A video note usually returns a playable video when one is publicly exposed. A photo note can return several image files, presented individually and in the order supplied by the source. A cover is not a replacement for a missing full video or gallery.

Public access and source limits

• Private, deleted, login-only, follower-only, regional, or age-restricted notes are unavailable.
• A short xhslink.com link must still redirect to a supported public note.
• Image dimensions, video quality, watermark status, and file types depend on the returned source assets.
• Profiles, collections, search pages, and account-wide batch downloads are not supported by this guide.
